I decided the best way to test out my blog was to put it into action so I had my students visit it and post comments. I found their comments about blogging quite interesting. I planned to have them visit this site one time only but many wanted to continue viewing it from home so I guess I’ll post my comments for this class on another blog to be created soon!

Hi Dara,
I loved reading your students comments. I must admit I was skeptical of how students would respond, but you are making a believer out of me!
I like the spontenaity (sp?) of the comments, the honesty and how students who hate writing seem to like typing… strange but true. You have given me a few things to consider… Thanks!

I felt the same way, Greg, my students made believers out of me as well. I was skeptical about how this could be better than what I would do in the classroom in groups with paper and a pencil, not to mention it was going to take more time but aparently to the students it was worth it, in fact I had to make them stop writing….
